The City of Grandview Heights known as the ‘Friendly Little City,’ is the most convenient suburb to downtown Columbus, and is very close to The Ohio State University. Grandview Heights was founded in 1906 as a village and became a city in 1931. Together with the village of Marble Cliff and the city of Upper Arlington, the area constitutes the Tri-Village Community. Grandview Heights, predominantly a residential community characterized by older homes and tree-lined streets, has a unique ‘downtown’ featuring a movie theater, eclectic shops, and a variety of restaurants, all within walking distance to the majority of the community. Driving time to downtown Columbus and OSU is approximately five to ten minutes.

Grandview offers older homes with charm and character, a great small school district, and wonderful central proximity to the city. It has been regarded as a trendy favorite for younger professionals as well as a quiet community for families. Like Upper Arlington, Grandview homes sell at a high dollar per square foot. Grandview’s demand has earned it one of the most appreciating areas in Columbus for home values.
